Randeep Hooda Opposes Birth Control for Tigers

Actor and wildlife photographer Randeep Hooda has expressed strong opposition to reports suggesting birth control for female tigers as a population control measure. Known for his advocacy for animal rights and conservation, Randeep called the proposal “ridiculous and dangerous.” He emphasized that tigers are an endangered species, and efforts should focus on their protection, not reducing their numbers.

Randeep criticized the idea, stating, “The only population that needs control is humans, not tigers.” He argued that tigers are vital for ecological balance, and interfering with their natural reproduction process undermines conservation efforts. He pointed out that habitat destruction, poaching, and encroachment are the real threats to tigers and should be prioritized.

Randeep urged authorities to reconsider the proposal and adopt holistic wildlife management practices. On the work front, he will appear in the upcoming action thriller Matchbox, alongside John Cena, set to release after filming in Budapest.
