Rana Dabbubati As Aurangazeb In Pan India Film

It is already in news that Shahid Kapoor would star as the legendary warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Amit Rai's next film following OMG 2: Oh My God 2.

The film produced by Wakaoo Films with Dil Raju is set to start filming by the end of 2024. 

The latest industry buzz is that Rana Daggubati is being considered for the role of Aurangzeb.

Discussions with Daggubati are in early stages and full talks will begin once logistical details are settled. 

Sources indicate that Daggubati is a top choice for the role and Kapoor is excited about the potential collaboration. 

Amit Rai's film is not a biopic but will focus on a key chapter of Shivaji Maharaj's life treating it as a thriller centered on a historic jail break.

The script is finalized and pre production has started. Filming is planned to begin by the end of this year. 

Shahid Kapoor will undergo intensive preparation for this significant role which he sees as a unique opportunity. 

Rana Daggubati known for his role as Bhallaladeva in Bahubali is expected to bring a unique flavor to the character of Aurangzeb.
