Ram Charan’s much-awaited film Game Changer, directed by S. Shankar, is set to release worldwide in just a few hours. Surprisingly, this pan-India film starring the celebrated RRR actor is not generating the pre-release buzz one might expect.
The hype was initially anticipated to rival that of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which created a sensation across the nation, especially in Bollywood circles.
Despite advance bookings opening two days before the release, the response has been not as anticipated for this kind of film, with many screens yet to sell out—unlike the massive pre-release excitement for Pushpa 2.
Critics have noted that the trailer failed to captivate today’s youth audience the way trailers for Pushpa 2, KGF, or Animal have managed to do.
Regardless, if the film’s content resonates with the audience, it could turn things around. Only time will tell what Game Changer has in store for viewers.
