Veteran filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, a throat cancer survivor, recently shared how his daughter, Sunaina Roshan, inspires him with her courage. Sunaina battled cervical cancer, fatty liver disease, and brain tuberculosis but remained positive despite multiple surgeries since childhood. Her resilience taught Roshan the importance of facing hardships with a smile.
Roshan revealed that Sunaina's positivity helped him cope with his own health struggles, including a shooting incident in 2000. He recalled maintaining a lighthearted attitude even during his cancer diagnosis, working out with his son Hrithik Roshan on the morning of his surgery to keep spirits high.
He also credited his wife, Pinkie Roshan, for her unwavering support. Despite coming from a wealthy background, she stood by him when he was earning just Rs200. Roshan emphasized that overcoming hardships depends largely on one's mental strength and outlook on life.
