Rajnikanth Shares About Amitabh's Financial Loss

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Vettaiyan, which reunites Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth on screen after 30 years. 

At the grand audio launch in Chennai, Rajinikanth paid his emotional feelings to Amitabh sharing his struggles and comeback. He recounted how Amitabh faced financial hardships when producing films, even losing his Juhu home but managed to bounce back through advertisements and his show Kaun Banega Crorepati eventually buying back his home. 

Rajinikanth praised him as an inspiration working 10 hours a day even at 82. He also highlighted Amitabh’s independent career despite his influential family background and mentioned Indira Gandhi’s concern during Amitabh’s severe accident, which revealed his close bond with Rajiv Gandhi.

In Vettaiyan, Amitabh plays Sathyadev, while Rajinikanth’s role is yet to be disclosed. The film also stars Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil. Vettaiyan, Amitabh's Telugu debut and Rajinikanth’s 170th film releases on October 10 during Dusshera.
