Actress Patralekhaa, now married to actor Rajkummar Rao revealed that after his films Bareilly Ki Barfi and Stree became hits, people advised him to leave her for someone more successful. However Rajkummar remained loyal which Patralekhaa attributes to his being a "true feminist." She praised him for his generosity as an actor, often giving up scenes to help his co-stars shine, something she says few do.
The couple dated for 11 years before marrying in Chandigarh on November 5, 2021. Patralekhaa debuted in Bollywood alongside Rajkummar in Citylights. Recently she was praised for her role in the web series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack. Her next project is playing Savitribai Phule in the film Phule opposite Pratik Gandhi.
Meanwhile Rajkummar is enjoying the success of Stree 2 which became one of the biggest films of 2024.
