Rajinikanth's Home Affected By Chennai Flooding

Chennai is under a heavy rain warning affecting many parts of the city including superstar Rajinikanth's home in Poes Garden where water has entered the premises. 

Social media videos show widespread flooding, with knee-deep water reported in various neighborhoods. Although Rajinikanth has not publicly commented reports indicate he is taking precautions for his family's safety. His staff is monitoring the situation and local authorities are working to pump out the water. This flooding isn't new; Rajinikanth's residence faced similar issues during Cyclone Michaung in 2023. 

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts continued heavy rainfall in Tamil Nadu until October 16 with an orange alert issued for that period. Additionally a cyclone is expected to make landfall on October 17 in Andhra Pradesh bringing heavy rain and strong winds along the coast.
