Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth has been staying away from politics. In the past, many expected that he would enter the political arena. However, due to health reasons, he informed his fans that he had withdrawn from that idea. Currently, Rajinikanth is focusing on films and health, acting in the films *Vettaiyan*, directed by T.J. Gnanavel, and *Coolie*, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Recently, Rajinikanth expressed his frustration when asked a question about politics at the Chennai airport. A journalist inquired about the rumors that Udhayanidhi Stalin might be considered for the position of Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Rajinikanth responded by saying, "I have already told you not to ask me political questions and not to trouble me," before walking away.
A video of this incident is now circulating on social media. For some time, there have been rumors within the DMK party that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin might appoint his son Udhayanidhi Stalin as the Deputy Chief Minister. Udhayanidhi Stalin responded to these rumors, stating that it is entirely an internal party matter and that only the Chief Minister will decide on it.
Currently, Udhayanidhi Stalin serves as the Minister of Youth Welfare and Sports Development for the Tamil Nadu government, as well as the DMK's Youth Wing Secretary.
