BJP MLA Raja Singh made sensational comments about choreographer Jani Master, who has been arrested following allegations of sexual assault and religious conversion attempts.
Raja Singh, known for his statements, particularly on religious issues, has previously faced legal troubles and even jail time for his remarks. The BJP had also distanced itself from him for a period.
Recently, a police complaint was filed against Jani Master, accusing him of forcing a Hindu woman to convert to Islam in order to marry him, along with allegations of rape. In response, Raja Singh demanded that Jani be treated like a criminal and expelled from the film industry. He expressed outrage over the claims that Jani harassed women and coerced them into converting.
Raja Singh also called for a thorough investigation into how many women Jani Master harassed and forced into religious conversion, apart from his assistant. It is known that a POCSO case has been registered against Jani Master, and he was arrested in Goa before being transferred to Hyderabad, where he will be presented in court.
