Movie News
The latest controversy shaking Bollywood is all about the "Jigra" movie. Actress-producer-director Divya Khosla Kumar publicly criticized the film. She shared photos of empty theaters on the day of release, claiming the makers inflated box office collections through corporate bookings, damaging Bollywood’s reputation.
Karan Johar responded seriously, tweeting, "The best answer to fools is silence." This further angered Divya, who questioned why outsiders, especially women like her, would even try to enter Bollywood if treated unfairly.
This issue seems to have cast a shadow on the upcoming "Animal Park" movie. Divya Khosla Kumar is linked to "Animal Park," while her husband, Bhushan Kumar, produced the blockbuster "Animal," starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. "Animal" has been hailed as one of Ranbir’s best films.
The controversy escalates as Divya takes aim at Alia Bhatt, the lead actress in "Jigra" and Ranbir Kapoor’s wife, accusing the team of fake ticket bookings. Now, people are wondering if the two husbands—producer Bhushan Kumar and actor Ranbir Kapoor—will be able to work together on a sequel to "Animal" amid the ongoing clash between their wives.
However, "Animal Park" still has some time before it starts filming. Sandeep Reddy is currently busy with pre-production for his next movie, "Spirit," starring Prabhas. By the time "Animal Park" hits the sets, things are expected to settle down.
