Priyanka Chopra Jonas, a global icon, recently visited India for a brand event while balancing multiple Hollywood projects. In an interview Priyanka shared the key difference between working in Bollywood and Hollywood, noting that Hollywood involves much more paperwork, precise schedules, and tight organization.
In contrast Bollywood operates with more flexibility and improvisation, often using a "jugaad" approach to problem solving. She explained that while Hollywood is highly structured, Bollywood allows for spontaneous creativity. Despite these differences Priyanka feels that filmmaking is largely the same worldwide as both industries share similar processes involving scripts, producers and directors.
On the work front, Priyanka recently finished shooting The Bluff, a film set in the 19th century Caribbean where she plays a former pirate. She is also set to star in Heads of State with John Cena and Idris Elba and will appear in the second season of Citadel. In Bollywood she will star in Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
