Priyanka Chopra Set to Return to Bollywood After a Five-Year Gap

Global star Priyanka Chopra, currently busy with her Hollywood projects, has revealed her plans to return to Bollywood. The actress, who was last seen in the Hindi film The Sky Is Pink (2019), has not appeared in any Bollywood projects since, sparking rumors that she might be moving away from the Hindi film industry altogether.

In a recent interview with a Hollywood magazine, Priyanka addressed these speculations and shared her future plans. She stated, "I will definitely do a Bollywood movie next year. During my free time, I visit Mumbai to listen to scripts from directors. I’m looking forward to connecting with Hindi audiences with a great story."

Priyanka’s upcoming Bollywood project Jee Le Zaraa, directed by Farhan Akhtar and starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif alongside her, had reportedly stalled three years ago. Rumors suggested scheduling conflicts, given Priyanka's Hollywood commitments.

However, addressing these claims, Priyanka said, "There’s no truth to those reports. If you want to know why the film got delayed, you should ask the production team."

Fans are excited about her return to Bollywood after a nearly five-year hiatus, and the actress’s statements have generated significant anticipation.
