Pavithra's Daughter After Mom's Arrest

Renuka Swamy was found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. Swamy worked at an Apollo Pharmacy in Chitradurga.

Police reports suggest that Swamy sent vulgar messages to Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda who is a close friend of actor Darshan. 

This alleged harassment led to Swamy's murder. His body was reportedly dumped in a canal at Kamakshipalya of Bengaluru in Darshan's presence. Eight of the accused have stated that Darshan witnessed the assault on Swamy.

In a related incident Pavithra Gowda’s daughter, Khushi Gowda, shared a heartfelt Instagram post days after her mother’s arrest wishing her a Happy Father’s Day with a picture of Pavithra kissing her forehead. 

Khushi has not addressed the arrest but Darshan’s 15 year old son responded to online trolls defending his father and expressing his own emotional distress.

Pavithra, Darshan and 13 others were arrested for Swamy's murder. The case has garnered big attention due to the intense emotional and social turmoil experienced by the families involved. 

Darshan’s son's plea for empathy shows the personal impact of public scrutiny during this difficult time.
