Actress Nora Fatehi faced backlash for her comments in an interview where she criticized feminism suggesting it had negatively impacted society and expressed disagreement with women not wanting families.
Nora has since apologized clarifying that her remarks were based on her personal experiences particularly growing up in a divorced family.
She emphasized the value of children growing up with both parents and apologized for any hurt caused stating her comments were misunderstood.
Nora explained that her perspective is influenced by the extreme feminist movement in the West which she believes has created a divide between men and women leading to societal imbalance.
She also clarified her belief that while women should be independent and have careers men traditionally act as providers and women as nurturers.
Professionally Nora recently appeared in the film "Madgaon Express" alongside Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwary and Pratik Gandhi.
