The divorce proceedings between actor Dhanush and Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya have reached a decisive stage. Despite earlier reports suggesting Rajinikanth was mediating to reconcile the couple, today’s developments confirm otherwise.
Both Dhanush and Aishwarya appeared separately at the Chennai Family Court today. Wearing masks, they entered the courtroom with their respective lawyers. They submitted a final declaration, stating there is no chance of reconciliation and requested the court to approve their divorce.
This was the third hearing of their divorce case. The couple had not attended the previous two hearings. During this final appearance, they submitted their declaration. The court has postponed the matter to November 27, when the divorce is likely to be finalized.
Dhanush and Aishwarya were married for 18 years and have two children together. In 2022, they announced their separation, which shocked fans.
Currently, Aishwarya is staying at her father Rajinikanth’s residence in Poes Garden. Dhanush, on the other hand, has purchased a new mansion in the same area and is expected to move in soon.
This development confirms that the couple’s marriage is nearing its official end, as stated by their lawyers.
