New Controversy: Darshan Gets TV In Prison?

Prison authorities have granted Kannada actor Darshan a 32 inch television in his cell for Ganesh Chaturthi. Darshan, who faces charges of kidnapping and murdering his fan, Renukaswamy had requested the TV to stay updated on his case and current events. 

The installation was delayed due to repair issues. Previously Darshan was provided a surgical chair and allowed phone calls due to his specific needs.

The charge sheet reveals the brutality Darshan inflicted on Renukaswamy including forcing him to eat non vegetarian food and kicking him when he refused. Darshan allegedly continued to assault Renukaswamy even when he was critically injured.

After the incident, Darshan wore blood-stained shoes to Mysuru, which were later seized from his wife’s residence in Bengaluru. The bloodstains on these shoes are crucial evidence in the murder case against him.
