Nayanthara's documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, premiered on Netflix India on her 40th birthday amid tensions with former co-star Dhanush. She had recently criticized Dhanush for blocking the use of clips from their 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhan alleging he demanded Rs 10 crore for brief footage and acted out of personal grudges. However Nayanthara expressed gratitude to other producers for providing No Objection Certificates (NOCs) without delay.
On Instagram, she thanked these producers for allowing her to showcase cherished moments from her career calling their support a testament to the goodwill she has built over 20 years.
She highlighted contributions from notable names, including Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Atlee reflecting on the significance of these films in her journey. Nayanthara emphasized the value of kindness and hoped others would share in happiness through generosity.
