Nayanthara don't want Lady Superstar Title

Actors often enjoy being addressed by their titles rather than their actual names—whether it’s Power Star, Superstar, or Icon Star. Some even change their titles over time. However, Nayanthara has made it clear that she doesn’t want such titles.

Widely referred to as ‘Lady Superstar’ by fans and the film industry, Nayanthara has now requested that people stop calling her that. She even released an official statement regarding this.

"Many people lovingly call me ‘Lady Superstar.’ I know this title comes from the immense love and admiration of my fans. However, I now wish to be called just ‘Nayanthara.’ That is the name closest to my heart."

She further explained that while titles may be grand, they sometimes create an image that distances actors from their true selves and the people they cherish. Nayanthara emphasized that she prefers to be known simply by her name, both as an actress and as an individual.
