Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna has strongly reacted to the comments made by Minister Konda Surekha regarding the divorce of his son Naga Chaitanya and actress Samantha. Taking to Twitter, Nagarjuna condemned the Minister's remarks, urging those in responsible positions to speak carefully and use appropriate language. He demanded that Konda Surekha retract her inappropriate comments immediately.
"I strongly condemn the statements made by Honourable Minister Konda Surekha garu. Do not drag the personal lives of film personalities, who remain apolitical, into your political battles. Please respect the personal matters of individuals. As a woman in a responsible position, the allegations you have made against our family are entirely baseless and false. I request you to retract your statements immediately," Nagarjuna tweeted.
The controversy started when Minister Konda Surekha accused BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) of being responsible for the divorce between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. She further alleged that KTR was involved in tapping the phones of actresses and introducing them to drugs. These sensational accusations have sparked outrage in the Tollywood industry and among fans.
