Netizens pointed out noticeable changes in her look, especially a bump on her forehead, leading to rumours of a 'botched' procedure. Some even speculated she underwent lip enhancement and forehead surgery, which fueled online trolling.
At a recent event, Mouni finally addressed the rumours. Brushing off the criticism, she said, “Main dekhti hi nahi... Jo phantom log baithe hai... so be it,” implying that she doesn’t pay attention to online negativity and is unaffected by anonymous trolls targeting her looks.
Mouni had earlier been spotted with bangs, which many believed were styled to cover the bump on her forehead. Meanwhile, she is preparing for her upcoming film The Bhootnii, a horror-action comedy set to release on April 18, 2025, where she plays a ghost named Mohabbat alongside Sanjay Dutt and others.
