Mouni Roy On Taking 30 Pills A Day

Mouni Roy smoothly shifted from TV to movies due to her acting skills. She gained fame from Ekta Kapoor’s show ‘Naagin’ and later worked with big stars like Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor. 

In a recent interview, she revealed her health struggles during ‘Naagin’. Before the show, she was very sick, bedridden for three months, and had to take 30 pills and injections daily.

Mouni thanked Ekta Kapoor for offering her the role in ‘Naagin’. Initially planned for three months, the show extended due to its popularity. Mouni starred in its first season from 2015 to 2016 with Arjun Bijlani.

Her latest work is the web series 'Showtime' on Disney Plus Hotstar where she acted alongside Emraan Hashmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Mahima Makwana, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Shriya Saran.
