Actor Esha Deol recently shared that she was eve teased at the premiere of her film Dus (2005) in Pune. During an episode of The Male Feminist she recounted how she reacted by pulling the offender from the crowd and slapping him. Despite the presence of bouncers a man touched her inappropriately prompting her to take immediate action.
Esha emphasized that such behavior should not be ignored and encouraged women to speak out against harassment. She explained that although she is not usually hot-tempered her response was driven by her intolerance for inappropriate behavior.
Esha, daughter of Hema Malini and Dharmendra also spoke about her belief in women’s emotional strength. She recently announced her separation from her husband Bharat Takhtani after 12 years of marriage. Esha has acted in several Bollywood films and is known for her roles in Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and LOC: Kargil.
