Luxury to Emergency: Saif Ali Khan Rushed to Hospital in an Auto

With a net worth of Rs 1,200 crores, a 150-room Pataudi Palace sprawling over 10 acres, and a fleet of luxury cars, Saif Ali Khan enjoys a royal lifestyle. Yet, in a moment of crisis, an auto-rickshaw became his lifeline.

Recently, Saif suffered a knife attack at his residence. His elder son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, was present during the incident and immediately prepared to take his injured father to the hospital.

Despite having five cars at home, no drivers were available at that moment. Moreover, retrieving a car from the cellar, opening the shutter, and bringing it out seemed too time-consuming. Acting swiftly, Ibrahim carried his bleeding father out of the house, flagged down a passing auto-rickshaw, and rushed him to a hospital just 2 kilometers away. His prompt decision-making proved crucial in getting Saif timely medical attention.

Meanwhile, the case has been handed over to encounter specialist Daya Nayak. He has already inspected Saif's residence and suspects the intruder entered through the fire exit. Initial investigations suggest the assailant might have scoped the location a day earlier.

Police have formed 10 teams to crack the case. They are also questioning a housemaid who was present during the attack. Interestingly, the assailant stabbed Saif six times but did not harm the maid.

Saif, who sustained severe injuries, is currently recovering in the hospital. Doctors have successfully removed a 2.5-inch knife blade lodged near his spine. The investigation continues as Saif regains his strength.
