Bollywood actress Kubbra Sait, known for her role in Netflix’s Sacred Games, recently opened up about a shocking personal experience. In a candid revelation, she shared that she became pregnant during a trip to the Andaman Islands after being intimate with a friend. Feeling overwhelmed and unsure about what to do, she decided to undergo an abortion alone without informing anyone.
"When I went for the abortion, I was at my weakest. That’s when I realized I wasn’t ready for it. At the same time, I didn’t have the courage to keep the baby and live with that responsibility. So, I chose to undergo the abortion alone, without telling anyone," Kubbra Sait stated. She also admitted that after the procedure, she felt a huge sense of relief, as if a burden had been lifted. However, she kept this secret for many years before finally revealing it. She mentioned this experience in her biography, Open Book: Not Quite a Memoir (2022).
On the work front, Kubbra Sait has not been seen in major projects after Sacred Games. However, reports suggest that she might play the role of Shurpanakha, Ravana’s sister, in an upcoming Bollywood adaptation of Ramayana. The filmmakers are yet to make an official announcement regarding this.
