She believed she had more talent than the roles she was offered until her film 'Mimi' changed things.

Kriti expressed her restlessness feeling she could do more as an actor but lacked the right chances. She compared actors to vessels, saying the size of the opportunity determines how much they can showcase their talent. 

She felt frustrated seeing newcomers, especially those from film families, getting opportunities without proving themselves.

But she believes everything happens for a reason and 'Mimi' came at the right time for her. The film's success reassured her that she was ready for such roles.
