Director Koratala Siva seems to be dissatisfied with music director Anirudh regarding the movie "Devara." So far, three songs have been released for the movie, and one of them, the "Daavudi" song, has received negative feedback not only from fans but also from the general audience. When close associates brought this to Koratala’s attention, he reportedly responded indifferently, saying, "What can we do? He gave us that song."
As a result, it seems that the "Daavudi" song has been moved to play during the rolling credits. The background score in the trailer also received feedback that it wasn’t exceptional, but just okay. It remains to be seen how the background score will perform in the actual movie, as it could be crucial to the film’s success.
Anirudh is undoubtedly a talented music director, but for some reason, the level of music he provides for Telugu films doesn’t seem to match the range he delivers for Tamil movies. The best music he has given for a Telugu film so far was for *Agnyaathavaasi*. After that, his music for *Gang Leader* was notable as well.
For NTR, this is his first movie after *RRR*, and the movie is being released as a pan-India project. It’s also Janhvi Kapoor's first Telugu film. Both NTR and Koratala Siva have high hopes for this film.
