Actor Karan Tacker, a television heartthrob turned OTT star recently voiced his concerns over young people using artificial substances to quickly build muscle. He observed that many young men and women at gyms prioritize appearances driven by social media’s pressures aiming to achieve idealized body images for validation through likes and photos. Tacker stressed that this emphasis on artificial enhancement compromises natural potential and creates unnecessary pressure.
Reflecting on his own career, he emphasized that despite his industry’s demands he has always avoided shortcuts. He noted that having a muscular physique is rarely necessary for acting roles as realistic portrayals often require a more natural look.
Tacker believes fitness should be about mental and physical wellness not solely muscular appearance, suggesting people pursue enjoyable fitness routines whether yoga, running or gym workouts. He concluded that lasting results require patience not shortcuts which quickly fade.
