Karan Johar's New Update On 'Student Of The Year 3'

During the Cinevesture International Film Festival in Chandigarh, film maker Karan Johar shared updates about 'Student of the Year#3' his upcoming web series, directed by Reema Maya. 

He emphasized collaborating with new talents, highlighting Reema's role in directing the digital version of 'Student of the Year'. 

Karan expressed his desire for Reema's unique vision to shine through, avoiding his own influence to maintain the authenticity of her work.

Reema Maya who is a renowned writer cum director and cofounder of Catnip production house is known for her independent filmmaking. 

Her short films, such as "Counterfeit Kunkoo," received acclaim at prestigious festivals like Sundance. 

Her recent project, "Nocturnal Burger," premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2023. Apart from this she has directed videos for major brands like Netflix, Red Bull, and boAt.

In 2012 Karan Johar launched newcomers Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, and Varun Dhawan with 'Student Of The Year' marking their Bollywood debuts. 

Later Puneet Malhotra directed 'Student Of The Year 2' featuring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria. 

Now Karan made it clear that the third instalment of this franchise is a web series.
