Bollywood actor and BJP leader Kangana Ranaut responded to former Punjab MP Simranjit Singh Mann's controversial remark where he said she has "a lot of experience of rape." Kangana condemned his statement as a rape threat asserting that such comments aim to intimidate her but she will not be silenced.
Her reaction came after she had claimed rapes occurred during the farmers' protest. She criticized the suppression of artistic voices and stated that she is not afraid of threats or intimidation.
Kangana also shared a video of Mann’s comment on social media accusing him of trivializing rape and highlighting how deeply rooted the casual use of such language is in society's patriarchal mindset.
Mann’s comment sparked outrage especially after Kangana alleged sexual violence during recent protests. Despite facing threats Kangana remains firm in speaking out against such issues and refuses to be silenced by those attempting to suppress her voice.
