Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is not just an actor but now an MP from a ruling party constituency, has revealed that she has been receiving threats. She shared this information personally.
Kangana directed and played the lead role in the film *Emergency*, where she portrayed former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Despite everything being done correctly for the film, she mentioned that the threats against her have not stopped.
"My film is ready for release. It has received a certificate from the Censor Board, and four historians have watched and approved it. All necessary documents and historical evidence for the scenes in the movie are in place. There’s no mistake in my film. However, some people are still trying to stop it."
Kangana claimed that some individuals are portraying the deceased Khalistani leader Bhindranwale as a saint, but she considers him a terrorist. She mentioned that such people are filing cases against her movie.
She also revealed that three days ago, *Emergency* was ready for release but was postponed to resolve certain issues. Kangana shared that she had invested her own money in the film, which led to her having to sell her house in Mumbai due to financial constraints.
