Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut representing Mandi, Himachal Pradesh is balancing her movie releases and political duties. Amidst this she is planning to sell her Mumbai house for Rs 40 crore.
The property, which includes her production house Manikarnika Films' office, is in Bandra and spans 3,042 square feet over two floors. No official statement has been made by Kangana regarding the sale.
This property was partially demolished by the BMC in September 2020, claiming some parts were illegal.
The demolition was halted by the Bombay High Court after Kangana filed a case against the BMC. She criticized then-Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and the Shiv Sena, accusing them of revenge and seeking Rs 2 crore in compensation.
Kangana’s next film, Emergency, where she portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, is scheduled for release on September 6, after several delays.
