Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the arrest of Telugu actor Allu Arjun in connection with a stampede at the Hyderabad premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule, which led to the death of a woman. While expressing her support for Allu Arjun, Kangana emphasized that high-profile individuals must be held accountable for such incidents, as people's lives are precious. She pointed out that both the event organizers and the Pushpa 2 team should share responsibility.
Allu Arjun, initially remanded to judicial custody, has been granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court with a Rs 50,000 bond.
His co-star, Rashmika Mandanna, expressed her disbelief and sadness over the incident, clarifying that blaming one person was unfair. Meanwhile, the deceased woman's husband stated he would withdraw his case, insisting Allu Arjun was not responsible for the stampede.
He affirmed that the actor’s visit to the theater was unrelated to the tragedy.
However, even after getting the bail, Allu Arjun had to spend a night in prison as the jail authorities mentioned some technical errors in the bail copy.
