Kangana compares herself to Shah Rukh Khan

Actress Kangana Ranaut, on being asked if her entry into politics was a result of her recent flops, said that this wasn't the case.

"There's no actor...who has never had a flop. Shah Rukh didn't have a hit for 10 years, but then 'Pathaan' worked," she said.

"We're the last generation of stars, OTT doesn't have any stars," Kangana added.

For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut will be representing her birthplace Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.

On Sunday, March 24, 2024, the Saffron Party released its fifth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls, which pits Kangana, a solid supporter of PM Modi, from her hometown.

The actress was born in Bhambla near Manali, which falls under Mandi district.
