Kangana: Common Women Are More Beautiful Than Me

Actor and MP Kangana Ranaut highlighted the resilience and beauty of Himachali women in an Instagram post, sharing photos of herself, Preity Zinta, Yami Gautam, and Pratibha Ranta. Kangana praised women from Himachal Pradesh, saying they work hard in fields, raise cattle, and make ends meet, often without social media recognition, and deserve more appreciation.

Separately, Kangana supported Blake Lively in her case against Justin Baldoni, drawing parallels between Hollywood and the Indian film industry. She noted that women refusing to compromise face defamation and career setbacks, referencing similar issues in the Malayalam film industry highlighted in the Hema Committee report.

On the work front, Kangana appeared in Tiku Weds Sheru, Chandramukhi 2, and Tejas in 2023. Her biopic Emergency, based on former PM Indira Gandhi, faced delays due to censorship but is set for release in 2025 after legal battles.
