Kamal Haasan Criticizes Amit Shah’s Remarks on Ambedkar

The political discourse in the country is abuzz with reactions to Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Actor and politician Kamal Haasan has now joined the debate, delivering a sharp counter to the comments.

Kamal Haasan emphasized that the foundation of New India is being built upon the visionary ideas of Dr. Ambedkar. He noted that while Mahatma Gandhi freed the nation from foreign oppression, Ambedkar liberated it from social injustices.

“Every citizen working towards a free and just India based on Ambedkar’s vision will not tolerate actions that harm his legacy,” Haasan stated, indirectly criticizing Amit Shah’s remarks.

Meanwhile, tensions escalated in Parliament today as ruling party MPs and opposition leaders clashed with slogans both inside and outside the House.
