John Abraham's 'The Diplomat' Avoids Jingoism

In 'The Diplomat', relesaed today, Bollywood actor and producer John Abraham plays Indian diplomat JP Singh. In a recent interview, John praised writer Ritesh Shah and director Shivam Nair for steering clear of stereotypical portrayals of Pakistanis. He commended them for presenting both the good and bad aspects of the neighboring country, avoiding unnecessary jingoism and focusing on authenticity.

John highlighted the film’s balanced narrative, emphasizing that the story reflects reality without resorting to exaggerated nationalism.
