External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is set to depart for the United States on Tuesday for an official visit. He will be in the U.S. until December 29.
During his visit, Jaishankar will hold discussions on bilateral, regional, and international issues with U.S. foreign officials. He will also participate in the Indian Consul General's conference.
Given that U.S. President Joe Biden's term is nearing its end and former President Donald Trump is preparing to assume office again, Jaishankar's visit has gained significant importance.
