Jailer's Warning To Kannada Actor Darshan

Jailer's Warning To Kannada Actor Darshan

The Ballari Prison jailer has warned Kannada actor Darshan to stop complaining about prison facilities threatening serious consequences if his behavior continues. Darshan has been arguing with staff demanding additional amenities and making inappropriate gestures towards the media and his family.

The jailer reminded him that he should address any facility issues through the court not by violating prison rules. Darshan's frustration has increased as his bail petition remains pending partly due to photos showing him receiving luxurious treatment in Bengaluru Prison. His partner Pavithra Gowda, a key figure in the fan murder case withdrew her bail petition arguing her status as a woman and single mother.

Darshan, Pavitra and 15 others face extended judicial custody until September 17 related to the murder of Darshan's fan Renukaswamy who was kidnapped, tortured and killed. The case gained attention after Renukaswamy’s body was discovered by a private apartment’s security personnel.
