Heroes Who Said No To Pan Masala Ads

Anil Kapoor recently declined a Rs 10 crore endorsement offer for a pan masala brand, joining actors like Allu Arjun, Kartik Aaryan and Yash who have also rejected similar deals. Kapoor believes he has a responsibility to his fans and does not want to promote products that may harm public health. 

Other actors such as Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan faced criticism for endorsing such brands. Akshay later withdrew from these ads and apologized. Kartik, Allu Arjun and Yash similarly refused lucrative offers stating their discomfort with endorsing harmful products like tobacco. 

Actors like John Abraham, Ammy Virk and Smriti Irani have also expressed strong opposition to promoting paan masala due to its potential health risks emphasizing principles over profit.
