From Assistant Director to Leading Lady

Actor Sharvari recently discussed her film career starting as an assistant director before landing her role in Yash Raj Films' upcoming spy thriller Alpha. In an interview she shared that her first experiences on set included working on films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Bajirao Mastani and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. 

She believes these experiences shaped her career. Sharvari made her acting debut in Bunty Aur Babli 2 in 2021 and credits Aditya Chopra as a mentor. When discussing male dominance in cinema she emphasized that character development should drive stories rather than gender. 

Sharvari is excited about Alpha, highlighting it as a unique project featuring two women in action roles. Since her debut in the series The Forgotten Army, she has gained acclaim for her performances, including her recent role in Vedaa alongside John Abraham. Alpha aims to redefine Yash Raj Films’ narrative style.
