Fire Breaks Out on Tenali Rama Shooting Set

The popular TV show Tenali Rama returned with its second season on December 16, 2024. Starring Krishna Bharadwaj and Pankaj Berry, the show chronicles the life of the legendary poet Tenali Ramakrishna.

Recently, a massive fire broke out on the set at Film City, Goregaon, due to an electrical issue in a generator outside the set. Though no injuries were reported, shooting was disrupted. BN Tiwari, President of FWICE, emphasized the urgent need for improved safety measures on film and TV sets.

The new season features Aditya Redij as Maharaja Krishnadevaraya, replacing Manav Gohil, with Sumit Kaul and Amit Pachori joining the cast. Actress Pavitra Punia has been introduced as Sunayana, a vishkanya seeking revenge. Despite the fire incident, the show continues to captivate audiences with its fresh storyline and new characters.
