Ed Sheeran Reveals RRR Is His Favourite Indian Film

Ed Sheeran, back in India after his 2019 debut tour, is enjoying his time by socializing with Bollywood stars ahead of his eagerly anticipated concert. 

In an exclusive interview with India Today, the Shape Of You singer expressed his fondness for India and revealed his favorite Indian film. 

Can you guess? It's the Oscar-winning blockbuster RRR, of course. 

Sheeran shared, “I really feel the love here, in India. Sometimes you can perform in places where people are very subdued. Even if they feel the vibe, you can't read them. But here, in India, it's vibrant! People are so excited! I have the same personality, so I like that.”

When asked about his favorite Indian movie, Sheeran mentioned RRR. 

"RRR is mind-blowing. It's an incredible film,” he said. 

For those unfamiliar, RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, starred Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles. 

The RRR song Naatu Naatu also won the Best Original Song Award at the Oscars last year.
