Dunki VS Salaar: SRK Defeats Prabhas In A War Of OTT Viewership

In December of last year, the box office witnessed a high-voltage drama as Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas clashed with their films, Dunki and Salaar, respectively.

Both films eventually emerged as winners, generating solid totals at the box office. Now that both movies have arrived on the OTT platform, comparisons in viewership are underway.

While Salaar led in terms of box office collections, the situation is different on Netflix.

Shah Rukh Khan's film is dominating the competition on Netflix! Dunki premiered on the platform on February 15th and has been receiving an overwhelming response since then.

Official numbers reveal that Dunki garnered 4.9 million views in just 4 days (February 15-18) and was watched for a total of 13 million hours. For the period of February 12-18, the film secured the 5th spot on the list of top 10 non-English films on Netflix.

On the other hand, Salaar premiered on Netflix on January 20th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. During its debut week (January 15-21), it ranked 3rd among the top 10 non-English films and enjoyed 1.6 million views, totaling 4.8 million hours of viewing worldwide.

Clearly, Shah Rukh Khan has asserted his dominance over Prabhas on Netflix.
