Director Wanted to Narrate the Story in Private to the Heroine

Becoming a successful heroine in the film industry is no easy task. For women who enter without any background or connections, it is even more challenging. This is true for both Bollywood and Tollywood. Even global star Priyanka Chopra faced similar struggles in the early days of her career.

Priyanka Chopra’s mother recently revealed this herself. She said that during the initial phase of Priyanka's career, she was extremely protective of her daughter, ensuring her safety at all times. She even used to sit on the sets like a guardian spirit, keeping a watchful eye. She also praised Priyanka for being highly mature and mentally strong, handling several difficult situations with courage.

Recalling one such incident, she revealed that a director once came to narrate a story to Priyanka. However, he asked her mother to leave the caravan, saying he wanted to give the narration in private.

Priyanka, showing great confidence, immediately confronted the situation. She boldly replied, “If you can’t narrate the story in front of my mother, how do you expect me to work on your film?” Without any hesitation, she walked out of the caravan.

Her mother mentioned that Priyanka has faced many such incidents throughout her career.

Currently, Priyanka Chopra is working as the lead actress in Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s film. She has already completed one schedule and is expected to rejoin the sets soon.
