Dhanush's Father On Nayanthara's Acts

Dhanush’s father, Kasthuri Raja, has reportedly responded to Nayanthara’s open letter regarding the ongoing dispute over the use of footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale. 

In her letter Nayanthara accused Dhanush of denying her an NOC for two years preventing her from using songs, visuals and photographs from the film. She also expressed shock over a legal notice demanding Rs 10 crore for using just three seconds of BTS footage in the trailer.

Kasthuri Raja, in his response denied Nayanthara’s claims stating that Dhanush was too busy with upcoming projects to engage in the matter. He also mentioned that he was unaware of Nayanthara’s relationship with Vignesh Shivan until after Naanum Rowdy Dhaan's release. According to him the accusations about waiting two years were false and both he and Dhanush were focused solely on their work not on responding to such issues.
