Deep Fake: Ranveer's AI Video Endorsing Congress

A new deep fake video circulating on social media features Bollywood star Ranveer Singh criticizing Prime Minister Modi for celebrating while many in the country face unemployment and poverty. 

The video seemingly taken in Varanasi shows Ranveer Singh expressing concerns about injustice and urging people to vote for development and justice by endorsing the Congress party.

Ranveer Singh who is currently in Varanasi for a fashion show, previously praised Modi for honoring India's cultural heritage. 

The AI generated video took the same footage of Ranveer's spiritual experiences and positive comments about Modi to convey a different message.

It is known that Aamir Khan has already distanced from a similar deep fake video endorsing the Congress party. 

Khan has filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Cell of Mumbai Police against the AI-generated video which manipulated content from his past show, 'Satyameva Jayate'.
