The recent death threats to several Bollywood celebrities have become a topic of concern. While Salman Khan has already been facing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, new reports suggest that other prominent figures in Bollywood are now on the target list.
Renowned comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D’Souza, and singer Sugandha Mishra have reportedly received threatening emails. These emails, allegedly sent under the name "Bishnu," warned the celebrities that their every move is being closely monitored. The email explicitly stated, “This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to intimidate you lightly. Take this message seriously.”
The sender reportedly demanded that certain conditions be met within eight hours, failing which serious consequences would follow. However, the specific demands have not yet been disclosed. Following complaints from the celebrities, cases have been registered at the Amboli and Oshiwara police stations.
Preliminary investigations have traced the IP address of the threatening emails to Pakistan. Authorities are now conducting further inquiries to confirm the authenticity of this finding and identify the individuals responsible.
These threats have raised significant alarm within Bollywood. Many are urging stricter security measures for celebrities, especially considering the recent attack on Saif Ali Khan, who was injured in a knife assault. While Saif is currently recovering, these incidents have escalated concerns about the safety of Bollywood stars.
The police continue to investigate the matter, and fans, as well as industry insiders, await more clarity on the situation.
