Darshan Denied Bail Again in Renuka Swamy Murder Case

Kannada star actor Darshan, along with his friend and actress Pavitra Gowda and 16 others, were arrested in connection with the Renuka Swamy murder case. All accused are currently in judicial custody and have been held in Bengaluru Central Jail for several months. Recently, the police filed a chargesheet against them.

In a setback for Darshan, the Bengaluru court has once again rejected his bail plea, along with Pavitra Gowda's. The investigation revealed that Darshan and his group brutally murdered Renuka Swamy in Chitradurga, 250 kilometers from Bengaluru, after allegations that he had sent indecent photos of Pavitra Gowda.

Post-mortem reports showed that Renuka Swamy had been severely beaten and electrocuted, with multiple injuries found on his body, stemming from the assault.
