Dad Upset With Sonakshi- Not Attending Wedding?

Shatrughan Sinha is upset with his daughter Sonakshi Sinha for not informing him about her wedding plans with longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal.

News of their wedding broke out last week through a leaked invite revealing their seven year relationship. Shatrughan admitted he was unaware of the wedding and sounded upset.

Pahlaj Nihalani confirmed Shatrughan’s displeasure but added that it would not last long, and he would attend the wedding. Sonakshi and Zaheer's intimate ceremony is set for June 23 in Mumbai. 

Pahlaj explained that modern children inform their parents rather than seek permission and Shatrughan himself chose his own spouse.

He suggested that Shatrughan might have been unaware due to being away for elections, and Sonakshi’s mother probably planned to inform him upon his return. 

Despite his initial reaction Shatrughan expressed his blessings and support for Sonakshi emphasizing his happiness and pride in her choice.
