Actor-model Nitin Chauhan clarified rumors about his death following the tragic suicide of MTV Splitsvilla 5 fame Nitin Chauhaan. Addressing confusion over their shared name he confirmed he is alive and extended condolences to the late actor's family.
On Instagram Nitin shared a video urging fans to stop spreading false "RIP" posts with his image revealing the distress it caused his family especially his mother. He criticized media outlets for irresponsibly misidentifying them stating such errors have harmed two families. "Social media and news sources must be held accountable for false information," he said demanding the removal of incorrect posts and media content.
The deceased Nitin Chauhaan known for shows like Splitsvilla 5, Tera Yaar Hoon Main and Crime Patrol passed away on November 7 in Mumbai with police suspecting suicide due to mental health struggles. His death has been confirmed by co-stars and colleagues.
